Available mid-November to mid-May People often ask us, "Isn't this an ichigo daifuku?" In ours, the strawberry is the star. We use only the large strawberries normally reserved for gift boxes, and reversed the usual balance between fruit and mochi to create something quite special.
The aroma of kinako warabi mochi, the gentle sweetness of white bean paste, and a house-made balsamic sauce with just the right tartness — together they draw out the flavour of a sweet, juicy strawberry. Our ultimate strawberry skewer.
Freshly picked ripe strawberries coated in bitter chocolate. The sweet, juicy fruit and the smooth chocolate are a perfect match. Sweet happiness from the very first bite.
Our summer favourite: carefully selected Tochiotome strawberries, frozen and shaved into fine flakes. Topped with our house-made strawberry sauce, the crisp texture of the fruit and the rich sauce fill every mouthful with happiness.
Mount Fuji in scarlet, enjoyed in Asakusa. Fluffy shaved ice generously covered with a house-made sauce made from twelve strawberries, crowned with a sherbet strawberry daifuku standing in for the cap cloud. A dish to look at as much as to eat.
What happens when frozen strawberries are shaved and blended with milk? Ripe strawberries selected by a farmer with thirty years of experience, blended with milk made to our order — the result is remarkable.
Strawberry juice from Miyagi Prefecture as the base, with ginger extract from Kochi and acerola rich in vitamin C. The tartness of strawberry and acerola meets the bite of ginger — refreshing on a hot day.
